International Internship through the project Diversity in the Creative Industries
Are you in the beginning of your career or training within creative industries focusing on performing arts, and living in Sweden? Here is your chance to get international contacts and networks – apply for our internship in Spain!
When: Two months: mid-October to mid-December
Where: Spain, Murcia

We are searching for three trainees who want to travel to Spain for two months from mid-October 2016. The trainees will get the opportunity to enhance their abilities in performing arts focusing on theater and circus skills. In addition to this, trainees will get the chance to develop their Spanish, being completely immersed in the language and culture, and also have the opportunity to take private lessons.
You will not only get the chance to go to Spain for your internship, but also the opportunity to enhance your knowledge and practical skills, as well as the experience of working in a well-established organisation. You will get to know experienced staff as well as beginners in your field, the opportunity to connect with them and their networks, and become part of a European Creative Network. The internships are based in:
3 people: Performing arts (100%)
The ” CHIMENA ESCÉNICA ” is a self-managed theater based in Murcia, which develops a creative language related to circus theater and contemporary circus along with other disciplines such as dance, video and experimental music. The centre was created by a group of innovative artists from a diverse range of backgrounds, including acrobats, actors, a theatre director and a computer programmer. They have developed numerous cabaret shows, as well as various show formats suitable for short and medium circuits. As part of their activities, they hold weekly workshops in circus, dance, theatre, magic, games and music with recycled materials, and intensive courses for artists wanting to learn new skills.

As a trainee your main activities will be related to performing arts.
